Goodness! Well here it is, my Kuja cosplay, one of my dream cosplays~ (I've always wanted to cosplay him~!)
I must repeat! REPEAT! This is not even a finished costume! o(x_x)o

I didn't get to finish in time with nearly all the detail I wanted to put into this costume. (This is pretty much the basic construction I did for it. There's still more detail I'm putting into it.)

So by basic standards, it's finished, but to me, there's still a lot more I'm going to be added. So to me it's still a WIP.

I had a photoshoot with Miss :iconapertureashley:~
I went through and picked out my favorite of the bunch!

In this one you can see a bit more detail in the wig as well as more detail in the costume. Of course there will be even more detail of close by the time I'm finished with it.
The metal plates are actual metal places and metal studs.
Most of the costume is made of a velvet and a large majority of the costume was handsewn. o(x_x)o

I really can't wait for the next convention to wear this costume. I will be having a more extensive photoshoot with this costume with several photographers. (Once it's more completed.) And yes, yes, I know the metal strap on the chest is slanted the wrong way. It took me over 3 hours to get into this costume. So yes, by the time it was time to put that part, I just simply put it on. It'll be corrected in the next shoot I promise! ><!

Nice wig =) did you use a spray to get the hair the way it is? I'm planning to be Kuja too =D. (funny thing I got a white wig, realized his hair is grayish until too late, but I'll make it work =) I guess I was too excited too remember his exact hair color =P) lol

I used a wig dying method that is used with copic markers/sharpie markers.
You combine the color packet with a certain amount of alcohol and spray the wig.
It's a messy job lol. I used several different colors (about 4-5) and blended it.
Heheh! Well that's okay! Mine was a light silver when I got it.

Ahhh I see. I was thinking of maybe having it silver/gray on top and fade out into white and spray the spikes in. Thanks! =D

Kuja is extremely difficult to get right, and by gods, you got it right :D The hair is especially amazing with the blue tints - you look positively Kuja! :heart:
The bracelets and jewellery are gorgeous too, really adds to the picture : )
Lastly, the pose is perfect.
Keep it up, you've got serious talent.

Well that is some compliment!
Though to me I'm not that crazy amazing heheh~

I did work really hard on it and am still working
hard on it. The finished product has yet to be revealed!
