Here is the fourth of a series of photos taken in the spring~
(Preview pic technically being the first.)

Since today is Wednesday, I thought it'd be a treat to show a more close up shot for a change~ Those bangs can sometimes get in the way, so why not move them?

The day was warm and the sun seemed to work with us, especially in this shot giving a glow~ Nice job Ashley~!

A Little About The Costume

This costume was definitely a challenge to make and the detail of the design ultimately captured me. For the jewelry, many pieces had to be imported (some from India) and all of them were entirely made by my hand. Just the jewelry alone for this outfit took me 2 1/2 months to make. I made all the facets myself and spent hours just working on the chain links and arrangement. The jewelry consists of glass beads, metal, and even clam shell pieces. The most difficult part of this outfit wasn't the jewelry, it was actually finding the right colors for the outfit. They're so unique and uncommon, that it took me months to find each color. I had to be careful and carry swatches with me everywhere, because one slight shade off and it would throw off the entire outfit. Obviously there's no patterns out there for this outfit, so I had to draft up all of it. All the line work in the outfit itself is hand-sewn. I was hand-sewing 5+ hours at a time when doing the detailing for the outfit.

The patterns I had to draw up by hand. And I made the jewelry myself as well!
(Even down to the pearl facets on the choker.)
The raw pieces for the jewelry came from so many different places as well. x.x;
Thank you for the compliment though!
My best advice is find a pattern similar to his outfit and then find jewelry similar as
well!
